We’ve been tasting spring 2013 green teas, fresh from the tea gardens in China, only a few weeks old.

Aromatic, delicious fruity and grassy flavours. Every green tea lover should try these teas!

We’ve been busily tasting teas for our lovely subscribers (it’s a tough job, but, you know…) freshly spring-picked from the tea gardens.

More wonderful 1st Flush Darjeelings from India - it’s a particularly good year for these teas, with gorgeous fruity and floral aromas.

Our tasting continued with quality teas from all around the world. We visited Nepal, the old kingdom of Sikkim, Indonesian and Africa. A taste sensation through lightly spicy infusions right the way to big and bold flavours perfect to perk us up in the morning. Look out for some supreme teas coming your way!

Beautiful photos of Du Kezong, the first stop in Tibet along the ancient, bumpy Tea Horse Road. You can still see the marks of the horses’ hooves.

The best quality tea must have creases like the leathern boot of Tartar horsemen, curl like the dewlap of a mighty bullock, unfold like a mist rising out of a ravine, gleam like a lake touched by a zephyr, and be wet and soft like a fine earth newly.
